Several points for operating feed pellet machine in feed plants(1)

Why do we need to press oil materials when running feed pellet machine?

1) If the compound feeds stay in the holes of pellet dies, it will corrode the die hole, resulting in:

1.1 The smoothness of the ring die hole decreases, which affects pelletizing efficiency and pellet quality.

1.2 Reduce the life of ring die.

2) The hot ring die will dry and harden the compound feeds in the hole, blocking the die hole, resulting in:

2.1 When the next operation, ring die is blocked and the materials cannot be extruded.

2.2 The ring die is subjected to excessive stress, strong

weakened.

2.3 After some die holes are blocked, the output is reduced and the efficiency is reduced.

Treatment methods after ring die is blocked

1) For new ring die:

1.1 Firstly, slowly press in with compound feeds, observe the discharge situation.

1.2 Then, slowly feed the whole corn or fracturing corn to observe the discharge.

1.3 Whole corn, oil, fine-grained sand are mixed, it is fed to observe the discharge.

2) For die hole which is seriously blocked:

2.1 After soaking and heating with oil, proceed as above steps.

2.2 Drill out the filler with an electric drill (improper operation will damage the die hole, please note).

Storage of the ring die

1. The filler in the ring die has been stored for 6 months, must be extruded and replaced. Too long staying will cause the filler to harden and block ring die hole.

2. The ring die should be stored in a dry and clean place. Excessive dust on the ring die will absorb and retain moisture and corrode the ring die.

3. During the working process, if the machine is stopped for more than half an hour or the ring die is replaced, the oil should be pressed. (The choice of oil materials should use soybean meal or bran, which is easily extruded.)
